20 years, and it turns into the bane of the neighborhood

I needed to know more:

Could we have a breakdown of where the money is coming from for this project, and what the ownership disposition will be proximately, and ultimately?

Can any other entities compete for the funds to be used at this location? I think we can come up with a lot of better ideas and better executions, than this thing we have coming at us out of central planning. I don't remember competitive bids or alternative plans; NRP seemed to be promoted solely by Abe Bruckman and a few others, in areas where conflict-of-interest concerns might come to the fore.

I do know that these properties at 4016 Denison, bane of the neighborhood, were originally built by old Mr. Fodor with the ultimate intent to become public housing after 20 years, which happened in 1987. We already do our part to support subsidized or public housing.

Also, why can't this project go on the school site on Memphis, already cleared, requiring no further acquisition or demolition?
